Dionaea 'Red Dragon' also commonly called the Red Venus Fly traps are one of the most well known carnivorous plants out there. We recommend keep them sitting in 2-3" of distilled water. They require bright and direct light and to experience a dormancy period between October and march. During the dormancy period they should experience a drop in temperature and shorter day periods.
Its also important to feed them! We recommend about once a month using extra small or small crickets. If you have to skip every other month thats okay just make sure to feed them every once in a while. Postpone to transplanting into a new container for at least 2 weeks.
