Haemanthus Humilis is often nicknamed as a blood-lilly due to its beautiful flower it produces every spring. These perennial bulbs are native to Southern Africa and form unusual yet stunning tongue shaped leaves throughout the warm months.
They require bright indirect light and to dry out all the way between waterings during winters and to dry out half way during the warmer months in order to promote growth.
Your plant will be similar in shape and size to the one photographed. We recommend only transplanting these plants when dormant during the colder months.
