Beaucarnea Recurvata otherwise commonly known as the ponytail palm, is a species of plant from the Asparagaceae family.
This stunning caudex plant is native to eastern Mexico. Despite its nickname including the word palm it is actually not a true palm. It is well liked due to its fat caudex that it forms. This stump has blown us away by clearly displaying just how stunning and chunky pony tail palms can get.
They prefer bright direct light and can tolerate in bright indirect light. During winter time make sure to cut back on watering and allow them to dry out all the way. During summer allow the first 2" of soil to dry out between waterings.
Your plant will be similar in shape and size to the one photographed. We recommend waiting 2-3 weeks till transplanting into a new container.
